In these unprecedented times, we appreciate the importance of being accommodating. Whilst we are unable to action any refunds at this time, we can issue travel vouchers to all passengers with flights effected by Covid-19 travel bans and or lockdown restrictions.
With this in mind, you / your clients now have the option of changing the flight date or route.
As long as the travel bans are in force in either the originating or destination countries, the following will apply:
If you were scheduled to travel between 18 March 2020 to the date travel bans are lifted (this applies to both the source and destination countries’ travel bans) you may claim a voucher to the value of your booking, valid for travel until 30 April 2022.
Vouchers can be used as payment, or part-payment, for a future booking, whether they be on the same route, a different route, or used towards a private charter.
Your new trip booked with your voucher must be fully completed by 30 April 2022 (departure and return).
How can I claim a voucher?
1. Date/s of the original flight

Due to high demand, it may take a few days before the voucher confirmation is processed and a response received. However, we will honour the date at which you submitted your voucher application. Thank you for your patience.
What bookings are eligible for a voucher?
Any bookings affected by travel bans and or lockdown restrictions as of 18 March 2020.
When can I claim a voucher?
You can submit a claim within 60 days of your original flight departure date.
Can I get a voucher if I’ve already taken advantage of the relaxed Covid-19 Postponement Policy and changed a flight?
Yes, you can still receive a voucher if the travel date is before 30 April 2022.
Can I get a voucher if my flight date has already passed?
Yes, you are eligible to receive a voucher, as long as your application was submitted within 60 days of your departure date.
What currency will the voucher be in?
We will issue the voucher to the same value as the ZAR amount that reflected in our account.
Can I use my ZAR voucher towards a USD invoice?
Yes, you may. The ROE is automatically generated at the time of invoicing.
How do I use a voucher?
Once you receive your voucher via email, contact our reservations team and quote the voucher code to redeem it.
Can the voucher be used on any route?
Yes, the voucher can be used on any flight operated by Angel Gabriel Aeronautics.
Can the voucher be used for accommodation at the lodge I am staying at?
No, the vouchers are for Angel Gabriel flights only.
I have only paid a deposit on my flight, am I eligible for a voucher for this amount?
Yes, any amount you have paid will be credited to the voucher.
Is my voucher transferable to another passenger?
A voucher is strictly only redeemable in the name of the passengers who were originally booked to travel. Vouchers are non-transferable to any other persons or companies.
When does the voucher expire?
The voucher expires on 30 April 2022.
Does the booking have to be made out in my name?
The voucher allows you to make a future booking in the name of the person on the original ticket. If you had multiple passengers combined in a single booking, we can issue vouchers to each person on request.
The vouchers are non-transferable but we recognise that some of the original passengers may no longer be able to travel - so we ask that the new booking contains at least one of the travellers from the original booking.
What happens if I book a flight that’s cheaper than the value of the voucher?
We will issue you with another voucher covering the difference.
What happens if I book a flight that’s more expensive than the value of the voucher?
You will need to pay in the difference between the new fare.
Will the voucher have any new booking restrictions?
Flights booked using vouchers will be subject to our standard new booking’s regular Terms and Conditions.
What happens if you’ve booked through a travel agent or third party?
Please contact your travel agent for more information.
What happens if I have used my voucher for a new booking, but subsequently travels bans have not been lifted, or are reinstated?
Your voucher will not be affected, and your new booking will be voided.
What if I have used my voucher, but I want to postpone or cancel my new flight for reasons unrelated to COVID-19?
Our standard T’s and C’s and Cancelation Policy will apply.
